If there was ever a place that inspired fairytales, it was definitely France. As I reflect on my travels the summer, I realized I saved the best city for last. I understand why the world has dubbed France the “city of love,” because it is so easy to fall in love with the romantic architecture, especially coming from a place like London.
While I am thrilled to be able to relive this sublime week, it is also bittersweet because it was the final leg of my European trip. For the next few weeks, I hope to be able to illustrate the beauty of this country for those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to explore for yourself. Also, I really appreciate everyone who has revealed to me that they appreciate my posts because they feel like they were able to live vicariously through me and experience the beauty, history and culture of the places I have traveled thus far. This was probably the best compliment that I have received on my work because that is what I had hoped to inspire in my viewers.
Note: As I am entering exam season, my actual “France” section with begin in 2 weeks. Don’t fret, though, I still have interesting content scheduled to release during my hiatus!
