You cannot visit London without stopping for a stroll in a royal park. On one sunny afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit Regents park, located in Northwest London. At one point, I sat on a park bench and just observed. It was a luxury that I have often seen elderly people enjoy, and believe me when I say it was truly enjoyable. Listening to the
30 minutes in the hot sun: Listening to the pitchy accents. Watching groups of school children walk to their destinations. Reading. Watching tourists take selfies.
In the end, I had an epiphany: although we all come from different backgrounds, we all share the same powerful commonality–life. We want to enjoy it, and we want to make a positive difference in other peoples’ lives. This is the glue that binds our humanity.
